Putting the CATS in Cats & Coddiwomple!
I am sure it goes without saying that one of my favorite animals is cats. I have had cats most of my life, and love interacting with cats I meet all over the world.
I go out of my way to visit cat cafes, cat sanctuaries, and other places where travelers have reported seeing cats. I also love to support local businesses or non-profits that benefit cats or provide cat related services or products both at home and during my travels.
I also try my best to educate myself on the best products and practices for taking care of my feline companions so that I can give them the best life possible and share a little of that knowledge and experience with others.

Cat Product Reviews & Recommendations
One of the more daunting aspects about being a cat caregiver is sorting through countless products and services designed to improve the life of your cat, make things easier for you to care for your cat, or both.
As someone who has been caring for my own cats for decades, as well as occasionally pet sitting for friends/neighbors, I have tried many different products and services in a variety of situations.
Follow the links below to find out more information about many of the products I have tried, which ones are my favorites (and which ones aren’t), and why!

RVing with Cats
In 2018 we purchased our first drivable RV, a Thor ACE. And we had high hopes of bringing our cats along for camping adventures. Inspired by all of the stories & photos on social media, we couldn’t wait to head out on the road.
Well… turns out our cats are not the chill in the back of a moving RV kind of cats. And that first trip was a complete DISASTER!! (You can read about it HERE.) It was so bad we stopped taking the cats with us for a while.
It took a global pandemic and a desperate desire to safely travel (and not wanting to have to ask anyone to leave their home to check on our cats), to make us consider trying again. Since then, we have successfully taken the cats on RV trips several times! We have learned a lot about acclimating cats to campers, discovered many helpful resources for RVing with cats, and found many products to make the entire process more enjoyable for people and the cats!
